Successful first community work day of the season!
June 11th, 2021
The turn out to the first community work day of the season was great! Lots of volunteers came and worked for four hours to mow down weeds in unused plots, mow the paths, cover the empty plots, clean up the compost pile, organize the shed, and clean equipment. Thank you so much to everyone who was there!
Learn About Ithaca's West Hill Community Garden
Who We Are
Built on a generous tract of land belonging to the Town of Ithaca, West Hill Community Garden comprises over 75 plots that are available to anyone in the local community. The garden's location offers beautiful views of the surrounding hillsides, and thanks to its relative isolation from traffic and pollution, there is a variety of wildlife and birds. In addition to water provided by the town, the garden has communal tools, fruit trees, and a pavilion that are all available to garden members.
